Stationery paper (known as bond or uncoated paper)
- Available in 80gsm, 90gsm and 100gsm
- Appropriate for copier, inkjet and laser printers
- Uncoated on both sides, ideal for printing, writing or stamping.
- Use for letterheads, forms and office stationery.
Silk finish paper (known as art paper or coated paper)
- Available from 115gsm to 400gsm.
- Matt surface, coated on both sides.
- Partly refined with dispersion varnish so it's not suitable for writing or stamping.
- Use for all printing - flyers, leaflets, business cards, posters, brochures etc.
Gloss finish paper (known as art paper or coated paper)
- Available from 115gsm to 400gsm.
- Shiny surface, coated on both sides.
- Partly refined with dispersion varnish so it's not suitable for writing or stamping.
- Use.. for all printing - flyers, leaflets, business cards, posters, brochures etc.
- NOTE: due to the way glossy paper is produced it has a slightly thinner 'feel' than silk finish paper of the same weight.
Postcard board
- Available in 280gsm and 350gsm.
- Front side coated, glossy and varnished, not suitable for writing or stamping.
- Back uncoated and unvarnished, good for writing.
- Great stiffness.
- Suitable for postcards, greetings cards and model cards.
Fluorescent paper
- Available in 80gsm.
- Front in colours (yellow, green or red), reverse white (not printable).
- Only really suitable for printing in black or dark colours because of the coloured surface.
- Coated on one side, colourful, light-resistant.
- Suitable for posters.
Poster paper (outdoor)
- Available in 115gsm.
- Matt-coated on one side, wood-free white.
- Blue reverse side to prevent show-through when glued on surfaces.
- Suitable for posters for inside or outside.
We also offer a range of self-adhesive paper and polyethylene stickers and some Recycled papers - but sources can be unreliable so please email us for more information.
Paper Sizes
Most people are
familiar with the A series which includes A4 the usual letterhead size.
There is also a B series which provides larger sizes.
The
C
series is for envelopes - A C4 envelope being ideal for holding an A4 sheet.
